Updates & Accommodations at New Hope Baptist Church
In compliance with Governor Mills' mandated ban on gatherings of 10 or more people, we will not be holding Sunday school or church services until the ban is lifted (including Youth Group, Kid's Bible Club). We love and care about the safety and health of our church family and community! We will continue to serve and minister while making accommodations for social distancing standards. Please check our page often for updates and news.
COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY
Community Food Pantry is still on for the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month. At this time, instead of having people crowd inside, we’ll ask you to wait outside and we will bring your groceries out to you. If it’s raining or snowing, you can wait in your vehicle and we’ll come to you.
let's roll - tp share
You will see a box by the back door at New Hope Baptist Church. If you have plenty of toilet paper, leave a few rolls for those who have run out! If you need it, take a roll or two at no cost!
giving challenge - coronavirus edition
It's no surprise that our community is in a little bit of an uproar right now with the arrival of the Coronavirus. Schools have shut down, events and gatherings have been canceled and churches across the nation aren't meeting together, in hopes of avoiding the spread of the virus.
But here's the thing - God is not surprised by any of this! And He still has work to do in Dexter, Maine. In fact, at New Hope Baptist, we're praying and looking for ways He would have us serve the people of our community during a time when many of them are feeling fearful and isolated.
The problem? If our own budget is squeezed because people are staying home and not giving, we won't be able to minister to these needs.
